POSITION TITLE: Housing Manager

SALARY RANGE: Starting at $90,203 per annum

LOCATION: Saskatoon

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Director of Housing and Homelessness

Brief Overview The Housing Manager provides leadership and oversight for the development, delivery, and administration of housing programs, projects, and services that support Métis citizens across Saskatchewan. The position is responsible for supervising staff, operational planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively and efficiently, aligned with organizational priorities and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to housing department staff.

- Conduct recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development planning.

- Lead the Métis housing program operations team, including but not limited to:

- Home Efficiency Initiative

- Emergency Repairs Program

- First Time Homebuyer’s Program

- Disability Adaptation Program

- Rent-to-Own Program

- Future programming to support Métis citizens.

- Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies.

- Develop and manage program and project budgets and financial forecasts.

- Contribute to securing consistent and stable funding.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with various partners and stakeholders; including but not limited to: Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments and agencies, Indigenous

- Support the development and implementation of housing strategies and long-term housing plans.





- Contribute to the creation and continued improvement of data collection processes.

- Develop policy and procedures for housing programs and operational practices.

- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Housing & Homelessness

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management and program delivery.

- Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations

- Commitment to reconciliation and advancing the rights and well-being of Métis citizens.

- Familiarity with federal and provincial housing programs, funding streams, and Indigenous-focused initiatives.

- Ability to travel within Saskatchewan and work flexible hours as needed.

Additional Requirements

- A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to our downtown location would be required.

- The successful candidate must undergo a Criminal Record Check.

- The Travel requirement for this position is 20%
