We are seeking an experienced HSE / Safety & QA/QC Coordinator to join our team in Fort McMurray. This position combines day-to-day health and safety responsibilities with support for our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with management and field teams. We are looking for someone who communicates well, builds positive working relationships, and takes a practical approach to maintaining safety and quality standards.

A strong safety background is key for this position. Experience with QA/QC would be an asset; however, we are open to providing additional training and development to the right candidate.

How you'll move the needle

- Support and coordinate day-to-day HSE and safety activities
- Prepare, review, and maintain JSAs and other required safety documentation
- Ensure safety records, documentation, and requirements are kept current and organized
- Work with employees and field crews to support safe work practices
- Assist with identifying and addressing safety concerns
- Support company safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Assist with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities
- Support QA/QC documentation, records, inspections, and processes
- Work with management and field personnel to ensure safety and quality requirements are being followed
- Organize and prioritize day-to-day responsibilities




- Assist with additional HSE and QA/QC requirements as operational and project needs change

What you need to succeed

- Previous experience in HSE, occupational health and safety, or a related industrial/construction environment
- NCSO Certification is required
- QA/QC experience, education, or certification would be considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good judgment and practical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with both field employees and management
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to learn and develop additional QA/QC skills and qualifications

What Would Give You an Edge

- Previous experience supporting both Safety and QA/QC
- Experience working in an industrial, mechanical, construction, or maintenance environment
- QA/QC training or certifications
- Experience preparing and maintaining JSAs and other safety documentation
- Experience working directly with tradespeople and field crews

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
