Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented HVAC Service Estimator to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing HVAC service repair quotes from our service tech's daily as well as project estimating (boiler / chiller replacement, etc.) , preparing comprehensive estimates, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will help drive our commitment to delivering top-quality HVAC solutions while maintaining competitive pricing and productive project management.

Responsibilities

- Review project plans, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise HVAC service estimates.
- Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals.
- Collaborate with sales teams, project managers, and clients to negotiate pricing and scope of work effectively.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather accurate data for project estimation.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on HVAC services or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and service procedures.
- Proficiency in estimating tools such as Bluebeam, and other construction management software.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with vendors and clients.
- Solid project management abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Construction experience that provides a thorough understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills for clear client interactions and team collaboration.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
- HVAC Estimating: 5 years (required)
