Operating 5 locations across Canada and over 30 in North America, Allredi has cemented itself as the industry leader.As part of the Design and Engineering Team, the Industrial Equipment Drafter will be responsible for the creation of technical blueprints, drawings and models for a variety of sheet metal components, equipment, manufacturing and assembly. As the Industrial Equipment Drafter, you will work to create working instructions for our products that include product details, guidelines, information regarding materials, specific measurements and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDesign/drafting of sand blasting equipment using SolidWorks and CREO CAD on daily basisUpdate and revise 3D modeling and 2D drawings on changes needed by EngineerCreate manufacturing detail and assembly drawings using SolidWorks and CREO CADCreate general and sign off drawing on custom designsReview design details and flag questions,



conflicts or any inconsistenciesEnsure that all designs comply with industry standards and specifications.Maintain accurate documentation of all design changes and revisions.Adhere to all Company policies and proceduresComply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and protected work practicesOther duties as assignedCollege Diploma or University Degree preferably in EngineeringProficiency in SolidWorks software and 3D modeling techniques is a mustGood understanding of engineering principles and technical drawingsAttention to detail and accuracy in creating and modifying designsKnowledge of detailed calculations using basic engineering principles such as material density, structural calculations, mechanical movement is an assetCSWP or CSWA Certification is an assetExtensive knowledge of sheet metal design parameters, laser, punching and bending processesExtensive mechanical knowledgeProficient in both metric and imperial dimensioningExperience or Knowledge of SolidWorks/CREO PDM professional or file management systemKnowledge of 2D AutoCAD is an assetExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
