Position Overview

Explorer Software Group is a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for the construction industry, offering a broad range of solutions for small, mid-sized and large enterprises worldwide. Explorer’s construction-specific solutions offer rich functionality, a full application suite and best-in-class customization capabilities. The Implementation/Onboarding Specialist works directly with customers to help them successfully implement, learn, and maximize their use of Eclipse ERP.

Our Implementation/Onboarding Specialists become subject matter experts in Eclipse ERP, combining strong accounting and business knowledge with deep product expertise. They guide customers through implementation and training, data conversion, recommend best-practice software utilization, troubleshoot issues, and help customers understand how Eclipse can support their business processes. From kick-off to post-go-live implementation support, the Implementation/Onboarding Specialist is a constant and trusted partner for our customers wishing to optimize their use of Eclipse.

The ideal candidate is a curious problem-solver who enjoys learning, teaching, and working with customers. Your training presentation style inspires people to want to learn more. You are organized, self-motivated,



comfortable taking ownership of issues through resolution and able to communicate effectively with Controllers, CFOs, accounting and payroll teams, managers, operations, and other end users.

Travel is an important component of this position and includes customer-site implementations and training, go-live support, internal meetings and Explorer’s annual User Conference. A willingness to travel and a valid passport are requirements of this role.

Areas of responsibility includebut are not limited to:

- Guide customers through software implementation, configuration, data readiness, training, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Train new and existing customers on Explorer’s applications and recommend best practices.
- Troubleshoot and research customer software issues and respond to Onboarding/Training tickets.
- Work closely with our Project Manager to provide product, implementation, and business knowledge to support customers and ensure successful implementations.
- Understand customer accounting and operational processes and translate them into effective use of Explorer’s software.
- Assess customer knowledge and implementation readiness and communicate outstanding requirements, risks, and next steps.
- Maintain subject matter expertise in the core product and various software modules and assist our technical support group when subject matter expertise is needed.
- Deliver application training workshops and presentations at Explorer’s annual User Conference.

Qualifications and Experience: ‍

- REQUIRED: Multi-Jurisdiction payroll experience, including union and non-union.‍
- REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years accounting and business experience, with exposure to job cost accounting within construction, manufacturing, or another job/project-based environment. CPAs and CPA-candidates welcome
