deductions, and compensation mattersCoordinate payroll-related information with Human Resources and Senior ManagementMaintain confidentiality of employee documents and financial informationAccountingProcess accounts payable transactions and coordinate payments with internal teamsPerform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliationsMaintain accurate financial recordsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirementsPrepare journal entries and assist with month-end HST reportingAssist with cash flow, monitoring, budgeting, and financial analysis activitiesDevelop and maintain working relationships with corporate partners such as senior banking, insurance, and ADP representatives, and external accountantsFinancial Reporting & ComplianceSupport preparation of financial statements and working papers for year-end analysis for external accountants and Senior ManagementEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirementsCommit to the integrity and security of the accounting systemIdentify opportunities to improve payroll and accounting processes and efficienciesBenefits and AdministrationSupport administration of employee benefit programs and group insurance plansAssist with onboarding and offboarding payroll-related activitiesSupport Administrative, Human Resources, and Health & Safety reporting requirements as neededRequirementsDegree or diploma in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, finance, accounting, or similar fieldExperience working in a qualified services, engineering, environmental consulting, or project-based organization is considered an assetObtained or working towards an accounting or payroll designations, or similarProficiency in QuickBooks and ADPFamiliarity with time and billing software is an asset (e.G., BigTime)Strong proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), with advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAnalytical and problem-solving skillsTime management skills, with attention to detailSelf-motivated and results driven,
