This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time deliveries. This person will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency as well as ensure output meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, and meet customer needs.



The best person for this position will have experience in a similar environment and have the ability to execute corporate objectives and troubleshooting problems effectively.Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on time deliveriesEnsure output meets production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needsDetect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining, adjust machine, controls and control media within required capabilities to ensure quality of production. Follow manufacturing and processing procedures, set machines or equipment controls, carry out production and inspection processes Perform daily maintenance andsafety checks on all equipment and toolsEnsure proper use of PPE at all timesCommunicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issuesPerform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flowRunning Honing Machines (Makino and Mori machines)Visually or mechanically inspect parts for defects (cracks, chips, dimension, surface finish) as part of in-process inspection; records result and notifies lead supervisor of deviation as appropriateComfortable to use the following for measuring and inspection; various types of micrometers, calipers, height gauge,



thread gauge and other toolsRequired to perform some simple machine preventative maintenance functions (ie.
