Position: Industrial Mechanic Millwright

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Scope:

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery equipment for Theta TTS and its ancillary organizations.

Job Responsibilities:

· Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

- Install, align, dismantle and move industrial machinery and equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective action
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drills and welders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on equipment as per schedule. Clean and lubricate as required
- Conduct preventive maintenance and update maintenance records
- Perform off-shift emergency support as required
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Maintain safety and housekeeping at all times




- Perform other duties and tasks as required by the department Manager

Qualifications:

- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in industrial machinery repair or Millwrighting to be eligible for trade certification
- Trade certification for Industrial Mechanic Millwright
- Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:

- Indoor/Outdoor work in offices or on the plant floor.
- Must wear appropriate safety equipment depending upon the job being performed.
- Physically able to lift up to 22 kg (50 lbs)
- Shift work in a factory environment

Experience:
- millwright: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Red Seal (preferred)
