The Depot Technician is responsible for the handling, consolidating and processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials received by the Processing Facilities. The Depot Technician must display a focus on safety and efficiency in a team environment while performing moderately labor intensive and repetitious tasks. The schedule for this position is Thursday - Monday from 8:15 am - 4:45 pm. (Sunday 8:15 am-3:45pm - 7 hours)Key Responsibilities:Ensure waste is processed in a timely and safe mannerAssist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containersEnsure incoming waste conforms with acceptance protocolOperation of processing machinery and equipment as requiredEnsure safe operation and procedures are followed at all timesComplete paperwork properly & ensure it is submittedComplete job hazard risk assessmentsPromote a safety culture with all employeesEnsure superior customer service is providedGeneral shop clean up and maintenanceOther miscellaneous tasks as requiredKnowledge,
