Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Properties, this role supports commercial leasing activities including tenant and broker outreach, property tours, leasing documentation, marketing,



market research and deal tracking. The successful candidate will be outgoing, qualified and comfortable with cold calls and door-to-door canvassing of prospective retail tenants, as well as direct outreach to commercial brokers.ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day commercial leasing activities and maintain leasing pipelines and availability informationRespond to prospective tenant and broker inquiries and coordinate follow-upConduct cold calling, door knocking and direct outreach to prospective retail tenantsMaintain relationships and regular communication with commercial brokersCoordinate and conduct property toursAssist with leasing proposals, letters of intent, deal summaries and lease documentationMaintain prospect lists, leasing trackers and transaction recordsAssist with leasing brochures, listings, signage and marketing initiativesResearch competing properties, rental rates and prospective tenantsCoordinate leasing matters with Legal, Development, Construction, Property Management and MarketingAssist with the handover of completed leasing transactions to the appropriate internal teamsRequirements5 to 8 years of commercial real estate leasing experience preferredStrong interest in commercial real estate and retail leasingConfident with cold calling, door knocking and approaching prospective tenantsStrong communication, organization and follow-up skillsProfessional and comfortable interacting with tenants and brokersProficiency with Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of commercial leasing and ability to read floor plans are assets
