We're looking for an Instrumentation Engineer-In-Training who wants more than a desk and a design manual — you'll help specify the instrumentation and control systems on real gas processing equipment, then follow it through fabrication, commissioning, and startup in the field. If you want to learn by doing, work alongside experienced engineers who'll actually mentor you, and see your designs become steel and pipe, this is where that happens.

What You'll Do

- Support the design and specification of instrumentation for custom gas processing equipment — separators, dehydration units, line heaters, amine and stabilizer plants
- Develop instrument lists, data sheets, and index registers, and review P&IDs; for accuracy




- Select instrumentation — transmitters, control valves, safety relief and shutdown valves — for process conditions and hazardous area classification
- Design safety instrumented systems (SIS) in line with IEC 61511 / ISA 84 SIL requirements
- Support fabrication with loop diagrams, instrument installation, and loop checking
- Get into the field for commissioning, startup, and performance verification
- Join client technical reviews and HAZOPs as part of the instrumentation team

What You Bring

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a technical diploma majoring in instrumentation)
- Registration with APEGA/ASET, or eligibility for registration
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
- A genuine drive to learn, backed by solid reasoning and logic
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

Bonus Points

- Experience designing or specifying instrumentation for process equipment
- Working knowledge of P&ID; development, instrument data sheets, and hazardous area classification
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA specification or FAT/SAT support
- Experience with custom gas processing equipment
