Full-time Opportunity | On-site in Elk Valley, BC (Relocation Required) | Salary: $95,000–$112,000/annum | Must hold a valid Canadian Work VisaOur client, an established mining operator with a significant presence in British Columbia's Elk Valley, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor for a permanent, full-time prospect.Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Human Resources, the HR Advisor will provide day-to-day human resources support and guidance to employees, supervisors, and leaders across a large operational environment. This is a broad, hands‐on HR position with exposure to employee relations, performance management, compensation, recruitment, career development, disability management, labour relations, and other areas of the HR function.The successful candidate will be a well-rounded HR professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment, managing sensitive employee matters, providing practical advice to leaders, and balancing multiple priorities. The role requires strong judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.The position is based 100% onsite in the Elk Valley, and relocation to the area is required. The role also offers a compressed work schedule with every other Friday off, providing additional flexibility and personal time.Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day HR support, advice, and guidance to employees, supervisors, and leaders across the operationAdvise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workplace mattersSupport employee relations investigations and assist with the resolution of workplace concernsProvide guidance and support related to compensation, recruitment, career development,



and other HR programsSupport labour relations matters and work with leaders on issues arising within the operational environmentAssist with disability management processes and employee support as requiredSupport the delivery and administration of performance management and employee development programsBuild strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, leaders, and other business stakeholdersMaintain and support HR systems, processes, programs, and documentationPrepare and analyze HR reports, metrics, and other workforce informationFacilitate HR workshops, training, and information sessions for supervisors and other stakeholdersProvide practical HR guidance while ensuring organizational policies and processes are applied appropriatelyHandle confidential, sensitive, and employee-related information with a high degree of discretionRespond effectively to changing priorities and emerging employee or operational issuesSupport broader HR initiatives and continuous improvement activities as requiredParticipate in and adhere to organizational health and safety programs and policiesQualifications:Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline6+ years of Human Resources experienceBroad HR generalist experience across areas such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and employee developmentDemonstrated experience providing HR advice and support to employees, supervisors, and leadersExperience working within a large operational or industrial environmentStrong employee relations experience, including the ability to handle sensitive and complex workplace mattersStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong judgment, analytical,
