We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, construction, and maintenance . This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

The Journeyperson

Electrician will work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently
- Work on renovation projects involving existing electrical systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum safety
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as part of automation systems
- Perform low voltage wiring and connections for control panels and communication systems
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures




- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly into building projects
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference

Skills

- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role with a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, control panels, and automation systems including PLCs
- Solid background in construction, renovation, and troubleshooting electrical issues in existing structures
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately and implement complex electrical solutions
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent safety awareness with adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
