Position Summary:

CustomAir is growing and looking for a Red Seal Journeyperson or Senior Apprentice Electrician to join our service team in the Fraser Valley / Metro Vancouver region. You will work with clients on service, maintenance, projects, and on-call rotation. We offer competitive wages, excellent benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

- Work safely and support a positive safety culture
- Identify, prioritize, and complete electrical maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial systems




- Install and retrofit electrical systems
- Participate in the electrical permit process for installations and service work
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, codes, and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment status
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective workmanship
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and plumbers to service clients and grow business
- Must be able to work on their own in a steady paced environment.
- Required to problem solve while maintaining communication with our customers in a polite and professional manner

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have:

- Red Seal Inter-Provincial Journeyperson or minimum 3rd-year indentured apprentice
- Valid driver’s licence, clean abstract, and bondable status (Clear criminal record check)
- Minimum 3 years’ trade experience, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

Nice to Have:

- Class B or Class A FSR certification
- Minimum of 3 years' electrical service work in a commercial environment is an asset
- Experience with HVAC, building systems, and DDC controls
- Diagnostic skills in motor controls, PLCs, and AC/DC drives
- Knowledge of high-voltage circuitry and protection devices (if A-ticketed)
- WHMIS or Confined Space Entry (training provided if not held)
