This is an entry level position that may provide an opportunity to grow in the Rice group of companies, within the aggregates, construction and development divisions.

The primary objective of the Junior Sales Representative is to work with Rice Aggregates customers and provide them with excellent service and competitive pricing. Other responsibilities include:

- Attending and contributing to weekly Sales Meetings,
- Working with Dispatchers and other Sales team members to provide the highest levels of customer service while optimizing available resources,
- Maintaining positive customer relations with existing customers of Rice Aggregates through proactive communication, relaying their needs to the team, and following up in a timely manner,




- Providing pricing to call-in customers, standard pricing and referring special project pricing to senior sales team members,
- Providing FOB and jobsite quoting to prescribed customers,
- Creates and sends yearly price lists to existing customers through SalesForce
- Working with management to establish delivery rate maps, contracts and standard operating procedures for daily operations.

Education:

- Post-Secondary Education

Skills Required:

- Able to work long days, flexible work hours & occasional weekends
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Must speak fluent English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of interpersonal skills
- Experience with computers and mobile devices, Salesforce experience is considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work with an open mind and collaborate with the team
- Safety conscious
