Twin Staffing is recruiting an experienced Small Engine Mechanic on behalf of an established equipment rental and industrial supply company in Yellowknife.For more than 55 years, the company has supplied and supported equipment used in construction, winter-road development, industrial operations and projects throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.This is an excellent opportunity for a capable mechanic who enjoys variety, independence and troubleshooting equipment in both shop and field environments. The successful candidate will maintain and repair a diverse fleet of rental and customer-owned equipment.Equipment IncludesGeneratorsAir compressorsPumpsWelding equipmentLawn and outdoor power equipmentOther small-engine and industrial equipmentThe company represents leading manufacturers, including Kubota, Bobcat and Lincoln Electric, providing exposure to a broad range of equipment and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical, fuel, electrical and engine-related issuesComplete repairs, servicing and preventative maintenanceMaintain rental equipment and customer-owned machineryInspect, test and prepare equipment before returning it to serviceAccurately document repairs, parts and service requirementsCommunicate clearly with customers, supervisors and other techniciansMaintain a safe, clean and organized work environmentQualificationsExperience repairing small engines,
