We are a privately owned company, licensed and operating under the Certificate of Authorization, issued by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors as legislated under The Surveys Act and the Regulations of the Province of Ontario.

We provide professional surveying services in the Greater Toronto Area, with a focus on Mississauga and the surrounding municipalities of Oakville, Brampton and Etobicoke.

Our company has completed over 10,000 surveys in its 70 year history. These include: subdivision plans, condominiums plans, reference plans, legal and topographic surveys, control and engineering surveys, design plans and sketches, specialized plans, layouts and many more. We maintain a 60-year paper and electronic archive of all our records.

We are looking to hire a Junior Surveyors Assistant . The successful candidate will work 40 hours a week and must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The surveyors assistant will work with a Party Chief on a 2-3 person crew.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Assist Part Chief in preparing legal, topographic and construction surveys





-Operate survey equipment including GPS, Total Station, Data collector, Tripod, etc.

-Maintain supplies and equipment, stock company vehicle to ensure resources and equipment are available in the field

-Working outside in a variety of sites and in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

-Completion or in process of completing a surveying or Engineering technology program is mandatory.

-Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 30lb)

-Able and willing to work in all weather conditions and environments.

-Knowledge of operating survey equipment (total station, GPS, Data Collector, tripod), practices, principles, and standards

-Ability to take direction and communicate effectively.

-Solid organizational skills

-Ability to work without supervision.

-Valid driver’s license is an asset.
