Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Support serving staff by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes for service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal quality
- Contribute to efficient food service operations by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to uphold health department requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is highly desirable
- Ability to perform meal preparation and basic cooking tasks confidently
- Strong understanding of the importance of food safety practices in a commercial kitchen
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
