Role Description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team in Sudbury.

The Kitchen Designer will meet directly with clients to understand their needs, preferences, space, and budget. The successful candidate will create functional and visually appealing designs using Mozaik software and guide clients through product selections, design revisions, quotations, and order confirmation.

This is a full-time, on-site position that requires close collaboration with our sales, production, measurement, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with clients to discuss their project requirements, style, lifestyle, and budget.
- Create kitchen, bathroom, and cabinetry layouts using Mozaik design software.
- Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, drawings, and 3D renderings.
- Recommend suitable cabinetry, countertops, finishes, colours, hardware, and accessories.
- Prepare accurate quotations and clearly explain design and pricing options.
- Review site measurements and project details to ensure designs are accurate and ready for production.
- Present designs professionally and guide clients through revisions and final selections.
- Convert consultations and quotations into confirmed projects.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project.
- Coordinate with the measurement, production, sales, and installation teams.




- Manage multiple active projects while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
- Maintain current knowledge of cabinetry products, materials, hardware, and design trends.
- Help keep showroom displays accurate, current, and visually appealing.
- Support showroom sales and other business activities as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry design, interior design, or a related field.
- Experience using Mozaik software is strongly preferred.
- Experience with other kitchen-design, CAD, or 3D-rendering software may also be considered.
- Strong understanding of kitchen layouts, space planning, cabinetry construction, finishes, and hardware.
- Ability to prepare accurate drawings, specifications, and quotations.
- Strong customer-service, communication, sales, and presentation skills.
- Ability to confidently guide clients and convert designs into confirmed projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a quick-paced environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with clients, contractors, installers, and internal team members.
- General computer proficiency and the ability to learn new products and systems.
- Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sudbury.
- Post-secondary education in interior design, kitchen and bath design, architectural technology, or a related discipline is an asset.
