Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and basic cooking to support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing utensils, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.

Support the serving team by helping with food plating and presentation when needed.

Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene protocols.

Help with stock rotation and inventory management to keep supplies organized and readily available for meal preparation.

Assist in setting up dining areas for service,



including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness for guests.

Participate actively in maintaining a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines at all times.

Skills

Solid understanding of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards.

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.

Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately.

Experience with meal preparation, cooking assistance, or kitchen support roles is preferred.

Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.

Knowledge of the food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and quality control.

Valuable physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy items or cleaning equipment.
