Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead the food operations at our Child Care Centre. This vital role involves overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, managing kitchen staff, and delivering nutritious meals that support children’s health and well-being. Responsibilities

- Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling, ensuring high-quality service for children.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with childcare staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and snacks aligned with daily schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed,



and control food costs effectively.
- Foster a positive kitchen workplace that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant management setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or hospitality sectors.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to child care settings.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy kitchen workplace.
- Previous experience working in a child care or educational setting is a plus but not mandatory.
