About the Role

We are looking for reliable and safety-focused Lane Closure Technicians to join our traffic management team. The successful candidates will assist with the setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control measures for road construction, utility work, and other roadside projects.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes safety seriously, and can work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Set up and remove lane closures and traffic control devices
- Install and maintain traffic signs, cones, barricades, drums, delineators, and other traffic control equipment
- Assist with traffic control setups in accordance with project requirements and applicable BC standards
- Monitor and maintain traffic control zones throughout the work shift
- Communicate effectively with Traffic Control Persons, supervisors, contractors, and site crews
- Perform regular checks of traffic control setups and make adjustments when required
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain traffic control equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and site-specific safety plans
- Work safely around live traffic, construction equipment, and changing road conditions
- Complete other traffic management duties as required

Qualifications





- Previous traffic control or lane closure experience is an asset
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification is an asset
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and BC roadwork requirements is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move traffic control equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts when required

Pay: $22.57-$32.09 per hour
