Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Large Format Specialist to join our manufacturing and packaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating large-format machinery, handling materials with precision, and ensuring high-quality production standards. Your mechanical knowledge and warehouse experience will be vital in maintaining efficient workflows and delivering exceptional results.

- 1–3 years of experience in large format digital printing, sign production, graphic production, or a related printing environment.
- Hands-on experience operating large format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and other finishing equipment.
- Experience working with a variety of print media, including banner vinyl, adhesive vinyl, rigid substrates, fabric, paper, and other specialty materials.
- Experience with print preparation, colour management, RIP software, and production workflow.
- Ability to perform cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, hemming, grommeting, weeding, and other finishing processes.
- Experience performing basic printer maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments.
- Ability to accurately interpret work orders, production specifications, dimensions, and customer proofs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Robust attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to identify and correct printing and finishing errors.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Flexi, Onyx, Caldera, or similar design/RIP software is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in the sign, graphics, vehicle wrap, display, or commercial printing industry is preferred.

- 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans l’impression numérique grand format, la production d’enseignes, la production graphique ou un environnement d’impression connexe.
- Expérience pratique de l’utilisation d’imprimantes grand format, de découpeuses de vinyle, de plastifieuses et d’autres équipements de finition.
- Expérience de travail avec divers supports d’impression, notamment le vinyle pour bannières, le vinyle adhésif, les substrats rigides, le tissu, le papier et d’autres matériaux spécialisés.
- Expérience en préparation d’impression, gestion des couleurs, logiciels RIP et flux de production.
- Capacité à réaliser des opérations de découpe, rognage, plastification, montage, ourlet, pose d’œillets, échenillage et autres processus de finition.
- Expérience dans la maintenance de base des imprimantes, le nettoyage, le dépannage et le réglage des équipements.
- Capacité à interpréter avec précision les ordres de travail, les spécifications de production, les dimensions et les épreuves des clients.

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
