This position offers the opportunity to participate in the construction of the Imperial Oil (IOL) Kearl Lake Sodium Citrate Injection Process System.The schedule is planned as a 14-day-on rotation, consisting of 12-hour workdays. While preference will be given to local candidates, fly-in/fly-outoptions from Edmonton, Alberta, and Calgary, Alberta may be available based on eligibility.Hourly rate: Ranges from $32.15/hr. to $53.58/hr.Job DescriptionDuties & Responsibilities:Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to all relevant legislation, policies and proceduresReview electrical and instrumentation engineering, and construction work packages.Review and execute scope based on Field Instruction Work PackagesUnderstand and execute work under LOTO requirementsInstall industrial cable tray and power cablesInstall process pipe heat tracing,



SR or MISupport the install of instrumentationInstall MCC WrappersManagement of material for required scopeCommunicate and work in a team environmentAbility to work with Field Engineering and Quality Control to efficiently resolve hurdlesProvide knowledge and advice on electrical and/or instrument equipment and systems.Provide direction in establishing the electrical and instrumentation requirements and specifications for existing and new facilities.Provide support in commissioning and start-up activities, as required, for the electrical and/or instrumentation equipment and systems in the field.Provide ongoing support to operations.Other duties as requiredQualificationsApprentice up to and including Journeyperson Red Seal levelStrong technical knowledge and proven experience in electrical and/or instrumentation equipment and systemsKnowledge and experience with Heat Trace systemsExperience in an industrial setting requiredKnowledge and experience with industrial construction an assetExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to clearly communicate with all levels of a project organizationRequired Tickets:Aerial Work Platform (AWP), and Fall Protection CertificationAs part of the recruitment process, successful clearance of applicable pre-employment checks is required which may include Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks as well as submittal of Provincial Driver's Abstract.
