Cleaning and sanitizing the work area.Representing ICS both in and out of the store.Adhering to all food safety protocols,



standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and other programs and initiatives.Other duties as requiredWhile we are willing to train the right candidate, most successful candidates possess the following:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferredMinimum of two years of experience in a bakery workplace.Enrolled in or have completed at least the first year of the Baking Apprenticeship Program (preferred)Skills and AbilitiesExcellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining a professional image.Working independently with little direct supervision.Have a well-balanced concern for both tasks and people.Have a genuine concern for the needs of customers.Ability to delegate duties and responsibilitiesWorking conditionsRequired to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.Exposed to hot, cold, and dusty environments.Regular exposure to flour and other baking ingredients, including nutsPhysical requirementsAbility to lift 50 lbs. consistentlyLong periods of standing and walkingFrequent bending and twistingOccasionally pushing and pulling of heavy carts around bakeryOccasionally work in coolers and freezers for short periods of time
