We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud‐based data architectures, data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and advanced analytics, along with the ability to translate business requirements into secure, high‐performance data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end‐to‐end data architectures on AWS, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analyticsArchitect and optimize data lakes and data warehouses using services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and Lake FormationDefine data models and standards for structured, semi‐structured, and unstructured dataBuild scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR, or Apache SparkDesign and support real‐time and batch data processing using Kinesis, MSK, or similar streaming toolsEnsure solutions follow AWS Well‐Architected Framework best practices (security, performance,



cost optimization, reliability)Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to align architecture with business objectivesImplement data governance, security, encryption, and IAM policiesGuide cloud cost optimization strategies and monitor performanceProvide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to engineering teamsSupport cloud migrations from on‐prem or other platforms to AWSRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture5+ years of hands‐on experience with AWS cloud servicesStrong expertise in:Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue, AthenaEMR, Lambda, Step FunctionsKinesis / MSK (streaming)Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, Java, or Scala)
