Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll lead key parts of the investment process, from deal evaluation and due diligence to origination and investment committee preparation, while helping shape the strategy's approach and mentoring junior team members.We're looking for someone with 8+ years of direct transaction experience in metals and mining, gained through principal investing, investment banking, or a comparable capital-markets role. A demonstrated understanding of commodity fundamentals and mine-finance structuring is essential, along with a strong track record in deal evaluation and transaction structuring, and ideally an existing network across the sector.THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Principal plays a key role within BCI's Global Partnership Fund (GPF) responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring, and monitoring investments across the metals, mining, and power capital structure. The department invests globally across Credit, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Absolute Return Strategies, with investment teams located in BCI's global offices in Victoria, Vancouver, New York, and London.
