Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to disassemble, assemble, and repair automotive parts accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions to troubleshoot issues effectively.




- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Communicate clearly with staff about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and procedures followed, adhering to safety standards at all times.

Experience

- Certified as a Licensed Automotive Technician with relevant state or industry credentials.
- Familiarity with schematics, automotive repair manuals, and diagnostic software tools.
- Experience with welding techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in automotive settings is preferred.
