Nelson’s Hume Hotel & Spa is legendary in the Kootenays for creating memorable guest experiences and delivering exceptional service. We’re looking for a Breakfast Cook, Pizza Cook, and Preparation Cook to join our team!

THE JOB:

As a Cook at the Hume, you’ll be part of a busy kitchen team preparing menu items for our guests.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen workplace while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety.

YOU ARE:

- A positive and dependable team player
- Hardworking and motivated
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
- Passionate about preparing great food
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

YOU HAVE:

- At least 3 years of commercial cooking experience
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability




- Knowledge of safe food handling and preparation practices
- FoodSafe certification, or willingness to obtain it
