Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team at Bizarre Gastro Pub. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service, delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards

- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards

- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food handling regulations

- Assist with plating and garnishing of dishes for service

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts

- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple tasks effectively





- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred. training will be provided for the right candidate

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices is highly desirable

- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations within the food industry will be advantageous

- Familiarity with serving standards and customer service principles is a plus

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
