DescriptionEssential Functions:Lead and coordinate daily production activities on the assigned line to ensure targets for safety, quality, and output are achievedOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtimeEnsure all products meet quality specifications, including inspection of glass for defects and adherence to customer requirementsProvide direction and support to team members (e.G., truckers, operators) to ensure efficient workflow and proper job coverageComplete and verify all required production documentation, reports, and system entries accurately and on timeRespond to production issues in real time, including equipment faults, quality concerns, and staffing gapsEnsure proper line setup, changeovers, and start-ups are completed according to standard operating proceduresPromote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and secure work practices on shiftCommunicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, quality,



and other departments to resolve issues and support operationsAbility to build and maintain strong and respectful partnerships with all levels of the organizationSupport training and onboarding of new employees and provide guidance to less experienced team membersDemonstrates dependable attendance and willingness to support overtime requirementsPositive attitude and consistent presence on the shop floorAdherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and PrinciplesOther duties as assignedQualifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious manufacturing or production experience, preferably in a glass or automotive environmentDemonstrated ability to lead or coordinate team activities in a fast-paced settingStrong understanding of quality standards, safety requirements, and production processesAbility to read and complete production documentation and follow detailed work instructionsOther Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts)Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as requiredComfortable working in a hot, industrial manufacturing environmentAbility to work continental shifts (days/nights, weekends as required)Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationDemonstrates computer proficiency and technical aptitude
