This is a practical, resident-focused role that supports the enjoyment, recreation and safety of residents and visitors.About youa horticultural or other relevant skilled qualification (preferred), or substantial equivalent professional experiencesubstantial professional experience of gardening or grounds maintenance to a high standardexperience of safely using horticultural machinery, such as lawnmowers, strimmers and hedge cutters, including identifying and resolving minor faultsgood knowledge of health and safety in gardening and grounds maintenance, including safe use of equipment, chemicals and manual handlinggood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and residentsa flexible, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiativebasic IT skills,



including the use of mobile devices and emailan understanding of the needs of social housing residents and a commitment to providing a professional service.Working arrangementsThe working days are Monday to Friday 8am-4pm with a 1‐hour break. The role is physically demanding and involves regular outdoor work throughout the year in a range of weather conditions.
