Frazer Excavation is currently hiring a Log Loader / Grinder Operator to join our growing Biomass Division in Prince George, BC.

Frazer Excavation is an established BC contractor with over 25 years of experience in excavation, forestry, land clearing, grinding, wood recycling and biomass operations. Our Forestry Division operates throughout British Columbia, transforming wood waste and fibre into valuable biomass products.

We are looking for an experienced, safety-focused operator who takes pride in their work and is capable of working productively as part of a field crew.

Responsibilities may include:

- Safely and efficiently operating a log loader and/or grinder
- Feeding and processing wood fibre and biomass material
- Completing daily equipment inspections and ensuring equipment is properly warmed up and maintained
- Operating equipment efficiently to maximize productivity
- Working with the Foreman and crew to establish daily work priorities
- Monitoring equipment and reporting mechanical issues or maintenance requirements
- Fueling, greasing, cleaning and preparing equipment for the following workday
- Completing required paperwork and daily equipment documentation
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area




- Following all company safety procedures and site-specific requirements
- Working cooperatively with truck drivers, labourers and other equipment operators
- Performing other duties as required

Employment Requirements:

- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience operating a log loader, grinder, or similar forestry equipment is an asset
- Valid driver's licence
- Proficient in English
- Strong understanding of workplace safety
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Physically able to work in a variety of outdoor environments and weather conditions
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
