Epiphan Video is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong Python and Playwright background to own test automation for our devices and Multimedia Platform. Join our QA team and help deliver reliable, high-quality video streaming and recording solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Epiphan Pearl devices, primarily using Python, Pytest, and Playwright, while also supporting our UI component tests in TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality video streaming and encoding solutions.Note: This full-time permanent position is based in Ottawa, ON, with a hybrid work format available. Employees are expected at least 3 days/week in office. Epiphan solutions are used in numerous verticals, including education, live event production, corporate, government, and legal.Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain API and end-to-end automated tests using Python, Pytest, and PlaywrightCreate, expand, and maintain existing Playwright component tests for our frontend applications using TypeScriptDesign and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functionality, usability, and performanceIdentify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; verify fixes through retestingCollaborate with developers, product managers,
