This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting qualified with a strong foundation in day-to-day accounting and who is interested in developing toward a future Controller-level role.The ideal candidate has several years of accounting experience, is highly proficient in Excel, learns quickly, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable providing guidance and oversight to a junior employee.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily Accounts Receivable (AR) and manage Accounts Payable (AP)Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesPrepare and post journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresMaintain accurate and organized accounting recordsAssist with account analysis and reconciliationsPrepare Excel reports, schedules, and financial analysisWork closely with management and other departments as neededTake on additional accounting responsibilities as skills and experience developQualificationsSeveral years of hands-on accounting experienceStrong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliations,
