We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Kitchen Manager.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Direct supervision of all stewarding employees, and supervisors as well as training, performance management, scheduling and assigning of daily duties and long term projectsFollow departmental policies, procedures, safety and service standardsConsistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service.Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards, policies and procedures.Work closely with the outlet leaders to maintain adequate levels of china, silver,
and glass par stock levelsReports any damaged or not working equipment to maintenance or proper contractor and follows upConduct periodic inventories to ensure par stocks and resource availability are maintained, determining degree of usage and identifying purchase or equipment requirements.Play an active role in the recruitment, orientation and training of new employeesEmbrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions.Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respectedOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:4 years proven leadership and supervisory skills in a Food and Beverage operationThorough knowledge of a large Stewarding DepartmentMust be computer strong with a knowledge of Excel, word, electronic mailDiploma or Degree in Hospitality Management a definite assetMust be results oriented, very organized, highly motivated and able to work under pressureMust be committed to and have a full understanding of the health and safety practices in the workplaceMust be certified in WHMISAdditional InformationWhat Is In It For YouAnnual salary of $ 65,000- $72,000 /yearSubsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time status employeesOne complimentary meal per shift in our staff cafeteria (additional meals can be purchased at subsidized rate)Comprehensive benefits package (Medical,
