anchored in Carleton's strengths and student-centric, community-engaged values.Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for provision of all confidential administrative, financial, and operational services for Chief Communications Officer and Associate Vice-President, DUC and the broader management team within DUC.QualificationsKnowledge of office administration policies, procedures, and processesKnowledge of DUC and practices within the university as well as the broader university offices, academic units, departments, and divisionsKnowledge of relevant policies, and proceduresKnowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific and enterprise software, and technology devicesA proven track record in providing comprehensive administrative support to senior-level management while exercising discretion, and maintaining complete confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including solid writing, research, presentation, and public speaking skillsExperience in developing communications materials such as newsletters, public announcements, and developing and maintaining websitesFinancial management experience including budget development and managementExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative styleStrong critical problem-solving and analytical skills and a proven ability to plan, develop and execute creative approaches to challenges in a structurally complex environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint); FAST,
