Job PurposeThe Training and Development Team Lead oversees the training and development coordinators and ensures training content for professional development and ongoing training is developed in a systematic approach applying adult education principals and technical knowledge. They are responsible for reviewing the training mission and strategy with the EED Manager and recommending new training initiatives, technologies and trends.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreates and delivers annual learning plans for Managers and Senior Leadership team – work collaboratively with HS and FSQA proactively to include legislative materialDevelopment, facilitation and maintenance of salaried onboarding program contentRecommend, Co-ordinate and facilitate "Eagles Flight" team building training and content developmentSupervise the Training and Development CoordinatorsAssist EED Manager in the development and delivery of training programs to meet requested organizational training needs based on needs analysis and industry trendsFacilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching and investigates new methods of training (ex. virtual reality)Source and recommend new delivery methods and technologies to improve training offerings and outcomesDevelop learning plans through our learning platforms by role incorporating both the Alchemy and Udemy platformsEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments,



feedback and performance metrics and make necessary changes to improve outcomesComplete analysis and review of training stats to monitor effectivenessOversee and maintain progression of Canadian Butchery skills development program for internal candidate skills developmentFacilitate the Operations leadership professional development program through post secondary online courses and practical information sessions with leaders internallyTracks and reports on training outcomes where requiredMarketing/communication of all available training opportunities to employees and provides necessary informationUses accepted education principles, training methods and techniquesServe as a Subject Matter expert on UdemyKeeps abreast of recent training technology and serves as the subject matter expert to review and recommend new technologiesWorking with EED Manager on providing input to the Training budget and monitoring spendManage training projectsDemonstrates and promotes the Conestoga WAYAct as a role model and cultivate positive relationships both internally and externallyProvide guidance and mentorship to trainers and instructional designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the teamOther duties as requiredPersonal DevelopmentAttend company required trainingRemain current with technical knowledge in areas of responsibilityRemain current on learning methodologies and best in class processesAttend regular 1:1 coaching/update sessionsQualificationsPost-secondary education in Adult Learning, Training,
