Role Description The Front Desk role is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Ontario, Canada. This team member greets guests on arrival, manages check‑in and check‑out procedures, answers inquiries, and provides information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Daily responsibilities include handling phone calls, managing reservations, processing payments, issuing room keys, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.



The Front Desk team member also responds to guest concerns, supports loyalty program enrollment, and maintains accurate records in the property management system. This role contributes to a welcoming lobby environment, upholds brand standards, and supports smooth operations across all guest touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach to guest interactions.
• Experience with Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette, including managing multiple calls and guest requests efficiently.
• Solid Computer Literacy, preferably with familiarity in reservation systems or property management software.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately, with attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Previous front desk, hotel, or hospitality experience is an asset; experience in a customer‑facing role is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, reliability, and the ability to remain calm and courteous in busy or challenging situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in hospitality or tourism is an advantage.
