You'll be out in the field, supporting supervisors, ensuring teams are properly staffed and trained, addressing operational challenges, conducting quality control visits, and making sure our teams are consistently delivering the high standards our clients expect.You'll be a key point of contact for frontline leadership and will have the opportunity to step into the Operations Manager's responsibilities when required. helping them succeed in their leadership rolesMonitor scheduling and invoicing accuracy and promptly address discrepancies to ensure smooth operationsEnsure security personnel assigned to the contract meet all required qualifications, training, licensing, and operational requirementsIdentify, document, and resolve operational issues while ensuring appropriate follow‐up and escalationProvide orientation and operational guidance to new security personnel joining the teamIdentify training gaps, conduct audits, and work with leadership to ensure employees remain properly trained and qualifiedEnsure Shift Supervisors and security personnel consistently follow established operating procedures and site requirementsConduct regular supervisory visits to operational posts to assess service delivery, support frontline teams, and identify opportunities for improvementConduct off‐site quality control visits, including at transportation hubs, offices, and other operational locations, to ensure teams are meeting required standardsProvide ongoing coaching, assistance, and training to Shift Supervisors and frontline personnelTake a proactive approach to problem‐solving by identifying operational challenges and recommending practical solutions to improve service deliveryTake immediate corrective action when service delivery or performance concerns are identified, while ensuring appropriate documentation and escalationSupport the Operations Manager during periods of absence and assume Operations Manager responsibilities when requiredEnsure Shift Supervisors and security personnel maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standardsPrepare and maintain required operational reports and documentationParticipate in scheduled operational meetings and provide updates on service delivery, staffing, training, and performanceBuild strong working relationships with frontline teams, internal stakeholders,



and client representativesSupport other operational initiatives and responsibilities as requiredWhat you bring:Minimum 2 years of management experience in security services, law enforcement, corrections, military, or another directly related workplace with responsibility for overseeing employeesExperience leading, coaching, and mentoring supervisors or frontline teamsStrong understanding of security operations and service deliveryExperience with scheduling, staffing, training, compliance, and operational documentationStrong problem‐solving and decision‐making skills, with the ability to take action in fast‐paced situationsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyComfortable working in a hands‐on, field‐based leadership role and conducting regular site visitsAbility to work flexible hours and respond to operational requirements outside of standard business hours when requiredValid BC Security Worker LicenceValid Advanced Security Training (AST) Certification - an assetValid Standard First Aid with CPR and AEDValid security‐related use‐of‐force training - an assetValid driver's licence and ability to travel between operational locationsSecondary school diploma or Canadian equivalentLegally authorized to work in CanadaAbility to successfully complete all required screening and contract‐mandated qualificationsWhy GardaWorld?At GardaWorld, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
