The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of Controls Engineering policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on schedule, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.What You'll Be DoingTechnicalRecognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving, and evaluate results on major issues prior to shipment of equipment to the customerReview any applicable customer software design standards and ensure compliance on project executionPerform code reviews and ensure that all Software Design deliverables meet the Eclipse high standards of quality, reliability, and safetyDrive project software development and integration effort through project completionLeadershipGuide, direct, teach, assist, and advise department staff on software design practices and standardsGuide, organize, and coordinate assigned staff to prioritize project deliveryLead the software design project team to ensure project contract deliverables are metWork to specific project milestones provided by project managementPromote positive relations with partners, customers, vendors, and distributorsRecommend and consistently administer policies and procedures to enhance department operations and support continuous improvementEnforce and promote Eclipse policies throughout the entire company including Human Resources, personal development, safety,



and environmentalRecommend Eclipse Database improvements on an ongoing basis to increase efficiency throughout the companyLiaise between all departments to ensure on time delivery of Eclipse machinery and equipmentWork with Human Resources and abide by the Employment Standards Act and the Eclipse Employee HandbookPromote environmentally and ergonomically safe conceptual product and/or processes to ensure safety of Eclipse personnel and the customer's employeesEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
