Business Line: Small Market CommercialHours Per Week: 35 (Full-Time)Location: 6715 8th Street NE, Calgary, Alberta - Hybrid Setting (https://www.Nfp.Ca/about-nfp/find-an-office)Job Duration: Full time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Client Executive to join our award-winning Business Insurance division for our Alberta clients. The successful candidate will employ their industry knowledge & experience to initiate and develop new commercial lines relationships for our Small Market Business Team.What You'll DoWork in a fast paced environment that will allow you to quote commercial leads generated from various sources on the same day as received or worse case next business day.Develop submissions (in conjunction with commercial lines underwriting staff) to markets that will meet present/emerging needs of the client and close the saleHand-off responsibility for provision of service to clients to the relevant Account Manager in the service teamsWhen appropriate to the maintenance of good customer service, field customer service requests (especially post-sale of one's clients), and ensure the completion by oneself, or by referral to the service Account ManagerDevelop a cross-selling protocol that allows the opportunity for integrated selling with all commercial sales to other lines of businessMeeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets as well as department goalsMaintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwritersResolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanour by using product and service knowledgeQuoting new prospects using NFP's new IRCA quoter as well as ARS or Company Portals if requiredRepresenting the brokerage at industry functions when requiredKeeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules and workflow processesWhat You BringValid AB General 1 is required, additional licensing would be considered an assetTypically,



3+ years of commercial or personal lines sales experienceKnowledge of risks associated with Small-Market businessTechnical knowledge of IRCA (Individually Rated Commercial Auto)Proven track record in insurance salesSelf-motivated with a passion for sales & committed to delivering a top-notch client experienceSelf-managing with strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills with attention to the detailsConfident, poised and interactive - when client-facing communicates effectively, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and understands how to tailor responses in a variety of dynamic situationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong team player with the ability to adapt to and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholdersProven technical competency and creativity demonstrating excellence in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutionsPrior experience in lead management software or CRM platforms such as Salesforce would be considered an assetExcellent computer skills expected with knowledge of Applied EPIC an assetProficiency with Microsoft Office suite products - specifically Word, Excel and OutlookWho We AreNFP, an Aon company, is a multiple Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance who has also earned the 5-Star Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) award from Insurance Business magazine and the WORK180 employer endorsement.
