This role has a strong focus on manual testing and is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into the details, uncovering issues, and understanding how things work, while also having an interest in contributing to automation efforts along the way.About the role:As part of our QA team, you'll play a hands‐on role in making sure every requirement meets a high standard of quality and performs as expected for our clients. Your primary focus will be manual testing, working through new features and product updates, identifying bugs and edge cases, and catching issues before they make it into production.You'll work closely with developers and other QA team members to understand product workflows, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve how we test. While manual testing will be the main focus of this role, you'll also have opportunities to contribute to and work alongside our growing automation efforts.This is an onsite role based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.Execute thorough manual testing for new features, releases, bug fixes, and regression cyclesCreate and maintain clear, structured test plans, test cases, and test scenariosCollaborate closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issuesTest across different workflows and user scenarios to uncover bugs, edge cases,



and usability issuesContribute to automation testing efforts by maintaining or updating existing automated tests and scripts as neededParticipate in improving QA processes, testing coverage, and documentationPrepare and manage test data to support testing activitiesLeverage tools and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of QA workflowsAre highly detail-oriented and naturally curious when exploring systems and workflowsEnjoy hands‐on manual testing and digging into how features work from a user's perspectiveThink critically and can identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases others might missAre proactive in clarifying requirements and asking questions when something doesn't quite add upCommunicate clearly with both technical and non‐technical team membersTake ownership of testing activities and follow issues through to resolutionThrive in a cooperative, fast‐changing environmentAre tech‐savvy and comfortable learning new tools, technologies, and testing approachesHave an interest in automation testing and are comfortable contributing to automation efforts when neededApproach testing and problem‐solving thoughtfully and methodicallyStrong foundation in manual software testing, including test case design, regression testing, and exploratory testingExperience creating and maintaining test plans,
