Day Shift | Full Time | On SiteGeneral LabourerWe are seeking a talented and motivated General Labourer to be a vital part of our Production team.This is full-time role located at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. Day shift Monday to Friday with some overtime.Pay Range: CAD $20.00 – $30.00/hrSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Build small mechanical/electrical assemblies, following detailed instructions and guidelines.Assist with polishing /washing of parts and components associated with Angstrom Engineering systems and machinesAssist with the Load/Unload and packaging of materials and equipmentPerform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery on the manufacturing floorClean and organize the manufacturing shop floor areaThis includes tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming and garbage/recycling removalShovel, salt and maintain walkwaysGeneral assistance in other areas of the shop, as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Must have the ability to understand, and follow, basic operator instructions and complete all assigned tasks in a timely mannerMust be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks are requiredForklift experience is an assetPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment is an assetBasic knowledge, and safe operation, of hand and power tools is an assetMust demonstrate basic reading, writing, mathematical skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalentMust be physically fit, and have the ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
