regulatory and organizational policiesPrepare and review financial analysis, management reports, and commentary to support senior leadership and governance needsPartner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and operational decision support toolsSupport tax compliance, including tax filings and year‐end tax provisionsManage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across operational functionsLead or contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and cross‐functional initiativesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and maintain a positive, safe, and productive work environment aligned with organizational valuesWhat does it take to get on track?CPA designation is requiredPost‐secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field7 or more years of progressive accounting experience including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial roleA customer‐service mindset with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levelsStrong understanding of financial statement preparation, internal controls, budgeting, and forecastingWorking knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and regulatory complianceExperience supporting multi‐entity or operational environments is considered an assetAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial reporting skillsExcellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesTo support our commitment to a safe and trustworthy workplace, candidates selected for this role will be required to successfully complete background and credit checks prior to employment.At Fountain Tire, you would have a great place to work!
