Headquartered in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and with a site in Mirabel, Quebec, we operate in more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.In T his Role, You Will:Oversee the procurement/supply chain process for the Stelia procurement teamProvide leadership and oversight, while supporting process and/or people development, and ensuring consistent executionBe the first point of escalation related to material shortages impacting ProductionMonitor the delivery for Line Stopped materials, and ensure timely release to ProductionOversee Supplier Recovery Plans and risk mitigationDrive supplier engagement, RFQs, pricing analysis, and PO placement with precision and urgencyCommunicate supply issues that may pose a risk or impact on business targets or customer expectationsAttend daily production meetings and provide comprehensive updates to mitigate any/all material risksEscalate relevant issues to SC Manager and Planning Manager as neededManage Line Stop tracking and resolution for procurement activitiesDevelop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvementWork with suppliers and internal teams to resolve price, quality, delivery and invoice issuesFacilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers, sharing performance metrics and feedbackDevelop, maintain and manage supplier relationships and ensure good communication with all critical suppliersUse data to optimize decisions, identify risks,
