This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The Senior Manager, IPD will drive continuous process improvements and align with Blackstone's Health & Safety, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion + Belonging initiatives.ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise subcontractors and on-site personnel to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.Oversee daily site operations for multiple project sites, including coordinating work with the client and subcontractors, scheduling, inspections, and issue resolution.Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain alignment on project goals.Work on multiple sites, ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.Monitor project progress and costs,



reporting any variances promptly.Enforce Health & Safety policies and ensure a secure work environment.Attend site meetings and provide clear updates on progress and challenges.Maintain accurate site documentation, including logs, reports, and change orders.Support procurement activities related to subcontractor engagement and materials.Address technical challenges and scope changes in collaboration with project teams.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Skills, Competencies & Qualifications8–10 years of experience in on-site construction management.Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades.Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Solid critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.Proven problem-solving abilities, especially in on-site technical challenges.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and Ontario regulations.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resolve on-site issues effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore construction management software.Working knowledge of Microsoft Project for scheduling.Post-secondary education in construction management or equivalent experience.Experience in institutional or ICI sector projects is an asset.NoteThe Company reimburses mileage and approved business expenses, subject to our internal expense policy and limits. The current rate is at $0.73/km (for the first 5,000km) and $0.67/km for excess, and is intended to remain current with CRA recommended range, updated annually per Company policy. Blackstone provides a laptop, monitor, and mobile phone on the Company Corporate cellular plan.
