Ltd.; ensuring products meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESField Safety Leadership & ComplianceInspect production material as assigned for defectsReport on defects to the appropriate managerPerform internal QA audits that are compliant with corporate policies, practices, and proceduresTraining & Documentation ManagementAssist with the maintenance of QA monitoring programs, including audits, controls, and other qualifiersSupport continuous improvement by integrating quality control tools (e.G., Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) into processesComply with Company QA programs for monitoring supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiersPromote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organizationEnsure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislationCreate and maintain QA control documentationESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSEducation & ExperiencePost-Secondary diploma or degree in an appropriate field,



or 2 years relevant quality management or industry trainingSkills & AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)Work safely and ability to recognize safety hazards and implement hierarchy of controls to eliminate hazards on site or in officeStrong listening, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to meet various deadlinesStrong verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate in a professional mannerAbility to work independently or within a team workplace with minimal supervisionAble and willing to travel and work frequent overtime and weekend hours to accommodate project schedules and/or business needsPhysically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy liftingHave and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstractSuccessfully complete pre-employment/pre-access drug and alcohol testing to obtain clearance for site accessTravel and work overtime as requiredForbes Bros.
