Mill Operator 4 - Crushing Plant Operator – 2026-130

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Mill Operator 4 - Crushing Plant Operator to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

Please note that Mill Operator 4 positions are available only to candidates who live in Saskatchewan or within close proximity to the mine site. Applicants from other locations will not be considered.

As part of the Mill Processing Team, Mill Operator 4 - Crushing Plant Operator position will be responsible for overseeing the protected and efficient execution of crushing operations to produce crushed ore feed materials for storage and feed to the grinding section of the mill. This position involves monitoring equipment, managing materials, and maintaining production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor crushing equipment, including the run-of-mine bin, vibrating grizzly feeder, jaw crusher, crushed ore bin, conveyors and apron feeders.
- Adjust equipment settings and controls to maintain safe, efficient production and product quality.




- Complete pre-operational checks and safety inspections, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Monitor material flow, equipment performance, production rates and crushed product specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations to minimize downtime.
- Report equipment issues and assist maintenance personnel with routine maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on production, equipment utilization, maintenance, downtime and material throughput.
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure crushed materials meet required size, quality and consistency standards.
- Work with supervisors and engineers to improve processes, efficiency and production performance.
- Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies according to established procedures.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements, including responsible waste management and pollution prevention.
- Participate in shift-start toolbox meetings.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training related to mineral processing is a plus.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Mill Operator in a processing plant is required, preferably in a mining or mineral-processing environment.
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a Crushing Plant Operator is required.




- Strong knowledge of crushing and conveying systems, including equipment operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, process parameters and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment malfunctions and process deviations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic processing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with routine maintenance tasks.
