Mill Operator 3 - Dewatering/Reagent Operator – 2026-129

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Mill Operator 3 - Dewatering/Reagent Operator to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

As part of the Mill Processing Plant Team, the Mill Operator 3 will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used for the separation of solids and liquids within the thickening and filtration area of the processing plant. This role involves ensuring safe and productive separation of solids and liquids in a slurry stream, adhering to safety and quality standards. In a steady state operation, this position will also be tasked with the safe and efficient preparation of mill reagents.

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate thickeners, filters, and related equipment to produce mineral concentrates and thickened tailings.
- Monitor and adjust operating parameters to optimize performance and ensure concentrate quality meets specifications.




- Prepare mill reagents according to standard operating procedures and required concentrations.
- Collect and analyze process samples to assess concentrate quality and consistency.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn components.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, emergency shutdown protocols, and PPE requirements.
- Control dust emissions and follow proper waste-management practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and quality-control records.
- Communicate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to coordinate work and resolve operational issues.
- Participate in required equipment, process, and safety training.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training related to mineral processing is a plus.
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Mill Operator in a processing plant is required, preferably in a mining or mineral-processing environment.
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a Dewatering/Reagent Operator is required.
- Knowledge of thickening and filtration principles,



equipment operation, and mineral processing techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, process parameters, and quality specifications.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to mining and processing operations.
- Effective communication, teamwork and basic computer skills for equipment monitoring and data recording.
- Physically able to stand, lift and work in varying weather conditions.
